The 2017 edition of the Low Cost Film Festival (LCFF) in Barcelona, Spain, has screened Iranian documentary ‘Overruled’.
The documentary co-directed by Farnaz and Mohammadreza Jourabchian was screened during the festival that ends today.
‘Overruled’ depicts the lives of some young Afghans who found refuge in Iran after the trembling time of war in Afghanistan. The boys have started working in low positions in Iran, but working hard, they have achieved considerable accomplishments.
Low Cost film festival has emerged as a space for promoting independent films and generating debate around the self-funded works or the films made by almost no budget.
The festival honors film in different categories, including Best Fiction Short Film, Best Documentary Short Film, Best Medium Length Film, Best Medium Length Documentary, Best Feature Film, and Best Feature Documentary.
This edition of the Spanish event has been slated for February 10-12 at El Pou de la Figuera in Barcelona.
